A Tale of Molise Identity

Il Colle Tinto Tintilia Molise DOC is a wine that tells the story and identity of Molise, bringing the character of an ancient land into every glass. Produced entirely from Tintilia grapes (100% in this label), it comes from hilly vineyards, trained with spurred cordon and Guyot on calcareous-clay soils. The strong temperature fluctuations typical of the Castropignano area enhance the typical aroma and acidity of the grape variety.

The harvest is manual, and skin maceration lasts between 8 and 10 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with frequent pump-overs to extract color and varietal aromas. After racking, the wine ages in steel and wood for at least 24 months, following the best practices indicated by the Protection Consortium. This long rest gives structure, elegance, and deep harmony to the final sip.

This expressive and structured red pairs perfectly with robust traditional dishes: braised meats, game, tasty roasts, pasta dishes with mushroom or truffle sauce, and mature cheeses. It is ideal to serve at 18–20°C in wide glasses (ballon), letting it oxygenate for a few minutes before toasting.
